Lewis had such a GREAT 3rd Birthday! Definitely one spoiled little boy..in a good way! :0) On Saturday, his actual birthday, we just played in the morning and he got to pick out what we did. Of course he picked out to watch the Cars movie while playing with his new Mater and Lighting car..big surprise! That afternoon we met up with my BIL and SIL and Lewies cousins Caleb and Vivian at the Chelsea Tree House for an afternoon of fun! Unfortunately I didn't get to go, because I will still sick and didn't want to give anything to the other kids. Jeremy took him and they had a blast, and went to dinner after at a Mexican restaurant next door. I was sad to miss his little party with his cousins, but on the other hand I was glad to get some rest and to start feeling better. They came home, and we then went out for some birthday ice cream. Then we came home and Lewis got to open his gifts from his Grandma and Grandpa in St. Louis!
On Monday, my parents came over for a little surprise party complete with Sesame Street decorations. Lewis was totally shocked when he woke up from his nap to see the house decorated, and to see Grandma and Papa jumping out to say SURPRISE! He was so giggly and so happy! It filled my heart with joy to see him just so happy. Lewis showed Grandma all of his race cars, read some books, and we danced to some Sesame Street music. Jeremy got home from work and we had Chinese for dinner, and then some cake and ice cream. Of course there was some more Birthday gifts to open also!
He was being so kind at his party trying to feed his cookie monster the popcorn and cookies!
I can't believe he is already 3...where has the time gone? Let the fun begin!
